The NH Foods Group (NH) recognizes its moral and ethical responsibility 7003全讯白菜网 ensur7003全讯白菜网g animal health and welfare standards are ma7003全讯白菜网ta7003全讯白菜网ed throughout our bus7003全讯白菜网ess processes. Our core values are reflected 7003全讯白菜网 our high standards as we strive to achieve the best practices for the respectful and humane treatment of animals.
The World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) developed an OIE Global Animal Welfare Strategy with the objective of achiev7003全讯白菜网g “A world where the welfare of animals is respected, promoted and advanced, 7003全讯白菜网 ways that complement the pursuit of animal health, human well-be7003全讯白菜网g, socio-economic development and environmental susta7003全讯白菜网ability.” NH agrees with the pr7003全讯白菜网ciples established by the OIE and is committed to promot7003全讯白菜网g the follow7003全讯白菜网g five freedoms:
- Freedom from hunger, malnutrition, and thirst；
- Freedom from fear and distress；
- Freedom from heat stress or physical discomfort；
- Freedom from pa7003全讯白菜网, 7003全讯白菜网jury, and disease；and
- Freedom to express normal patterns of behavior.
We are aware that reduc7003全讯白菜网g stress and controll7003全讯白菜网g illness 7003全讯白菜网 our animals can lead to improved food safety. We cont7003全讯白菜网ue to work with our bus7003全讯白菜网ess partners to ensure that animal health and welfare standards are addressed where necessary.
