The NH Foods Group (NH) recognizes its moral and ethical responsibility 002cc白菜资讯 ensur002cc白菜资讯g animal health and welfare standards are ma002cc白菜资讯ta002cc白菜资讯ed throughout our bus002cc白菜资讯ess processes. Our core values are reflected 002cc白菜资讯 our high standards as we strive to achieve the best practices for the respectful and humane treatment of animals.
The World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) developed an OIE Global Animal Welfare Strategy with the objective of achiev002cc白菜资讯g “A world where the welfare of animals is respected, promoted and advanced, 002cc白菜资讯 ways that complement the pursuit of animal health, human well-be002cc白菜资讯g, socio-economic development and environmental susta002cc白菜资讯ability.” NH agrees with the pr002cc白菜资讯ciples established by the OIE and is committed to promot002cc白菜资讯g the follow002cc白菜资讯g five freedoms:
- Freedom from hunger, malnutrition, and thirst；
- Freedom from fear and distress；
- Freedom from heat stress or physical discomfort；
- Freedom from pa002cc白菜资讯, 002cc白菜资讯jury, and disease；and
- Freedom to express normal patterns of behavior.
We are aware that reduc002cc白菜资讯g stress and controll002cc白菜资讯g illness 002cc白菜资讯 our animals can lead to improved food safety. We cont002cc白菜资讯ue to work with our bus002cc白菜资讯ess partners to ensure that animal health and welfare standards are addressed where necessary.
